Noises off.

As we sat in our son’s garden, every now and then there would be a snap noise, and then a clattering sound. The noises proved to come from the tall eucalyptus tree in their garden, which was shedding strips of bark. I don’t know whether the tree has a particular time for bark shedding, but it was certainly putting on a performance today.
Also putting on a performance was our family who gave us a lovely lunch, We had barbecued leg of lamb and also chicken, various salads, followed by fruit, meringues and cream. A delicious lunch. Jake was there too, as was Kingsley the cat. See him relaxing in extra.
