Acrobatic alterations

Mimi spend a good part of the morning redesigning one of her old school t-shirts. 
In its former (and official) length, it wasn't quite suited for wearing with high waist jeans. Or so I'm told. 
What would I know? I am one of these dinosaurs who are convinced that clothes are textile thermal regulation devices. 
Other members of the family think primarily in terms of coordination, of outfits optimisation even. Concepts such as comfort, price or permeability to water are secondary. At best.
