Pond LIfe
Blipping late, the day has escaped me! Another cracker weatherwise and most of it was spent (wo)maning the authors' stall in the Sheep's Head market. The last one for the season was a very enjoyable and mellow affair accompanied by live music, sunshine, a steady flow of customers and a few sales. A skim through the papers sitting by the pond - the lilies still hanging on there - and a swim. The strand was packed with families and bouncy black dogs and the water was fresh! Now listening to my brother on Radio Altrincham ( a beautifully mesmerising Arvo Part to start with) and wondering if I might go down to the sea for one last time today as phosphorescence is rumoured to be occurring. All go.
