Out but can’t get out

I didn’t run this morning. I tried to sleep in. Fail.
Got us up and out to Auntie L. Dropped off then popped to get a balloon and onto a birthday meal that neither of us wanted to go to. When I realised I was sat opposite D who rarely acknowledges me, I decided to drink. then a lovely afternoon was had. Hugely expensive meal for what it was. Random as we tried to get out. The parking should have been £16!!!!!! But was £2.50.....thanks covid. But then we got stuck at the barriers with two cars that just couldn’t get through. Whoops! I was fine though because I wasn’t driving and was feeling quite merry.

Back to get the girls and discuss house options.
Home with two tired little people. Can’t believe the summer is drawing to a close.
