The Joys of Spring

Hooray for Springtime!
As you can see from this photo shot through the windscreen of the car this morning, we are enjoying a heat wave. Well actually not.
Due to flooding, the motorway between here and Dublin was closed for most of the day. In the congestion and confusion which followed, some people were taking three and a half hours to cover a stretch of about 10kms (6 miles).
In the meantime the Northern part of the country is under snow. I reckon we are all doomed !
