A small disaster

I've had this mug for about forty years.  It was one of a set of four, each of which had a lid.  Two of them broke over the years, one ended up at Lex's house (I don't remember how) and this last one was my go-to mug for tea.  Last week I accidentally knocked the mug off the kitchen counter, shattering the handle.  But I still had the lid to use with my other mugs.  Then yesterday the lid hit the floor as well, breaking into several pieces.  Since the mug was old, and the broken one is derelict, I thought this might work for the Derelict Sunday challenge.  I'm really sad that this little treasure is gone.
