Tourists

London friends arrived at the take end of their Scotland holiday. Popped in to town for some sights and caught the last day of the Archie Brennan tapestry exhibition at the Dovecot. So glad we did - amazing tapestries, very quietly and with good humour. This lady is split into 12 postcards and was mailed to an art centre in America. Archie likes the fact that it was censored, as a nude would have been considered porn - but not if she is in pieces.
Walked round the meadows to view the student accommodation where my friends daughter will be staying in just a few weeks when she starts uni.hopefully it’s made her slightly less anxious about the move. She will be a long way from home, but I’m looking forward to having her near by.
