The Bee and St. Francis

My second variety of Joe Pye Weed is blooming now and the bees are very happy.  It is not the bubble gum pink variety that blooms earlier; it is a more subdued pink.  The garden is winding down now with only the sedums left to show off their stuff.  John will be here Wednesday to give it a final clean-up before the big cut down begins next month.  So, enjoy what's left little bees.
