For once, I can say, this is mine, you can't take

Earlier on today, I was having a little melt down.

I'm prone to this, every so often, but definitely not as often as I used to. It matters not a jot what wound me up, but suffice that once wound up, I need quickly to wind back down to reach an even playing field, where silly men folk in the office won't be killed.

Those around me understand and know the right things to say to stop me in my tracks and give me back my inner calm.

Today, Boy was on line, and I said, "Make me smile, I'm having a temper".

The response was instant:

"dinosaurs only climb lamp posts when the air is is filed with cereal. Cos if they didn't all the koala bears would have aids"

Well, if that didn't stop me in my tracks and make me smile, nothing would.
