Sunflower!

Earlier this year I Blipped a plant in a pot and a sign that had been left with it in the street in Metheringham. I noticed last week that the owner of the chippy had taken the plant and put it outside his shop (maybe it was he who'd put it in the street in the first place...) This is one of its flowers! It is not very tall as sunflowers go but it does have wonderful bright blooms! A much needed zing of colour on a very grey day!

I went to see my Dad and he is in good spirits if feeling a little under the weather again health-wise.  He is still going for a short walk a couple of times a day and sleeping better now so hopefully he will feel better soon.

It's half time of the Rugby League on TV now and Wigan are actually 6-0 up against Castleford - our first try in over two and a half matches! That is how bad it has been! They are looking better so far in this game and hopefully they will go on to win!
