Negative Space

We went into Stratford this morning to meet Tom for a drink at Box Brownie.   Being a UK bank holiday, the town was pretty busy, especially along Waterside where there was a full scale market running.  If the topic for today's Mono Monday hosted by Carolina had been 'Street Scene' I probably wouldn't have much problem in finding a good'ish pic.  As it is not that, but Negative Space, I was at a loss.  

This afternoon I haven't done much except watch some paralympics then some tennis, it's day one of the US Open.

Still wondering about negative space I saw a setup that might work.  So here it is.  Whether this is an interpretation of the topic, or just a b&w still life, I don't know....but it's all you're getting!
