Detail of the lubricating oil separator. 
This is part of the inside; the stack of thin plates, rotating at high speed in a closed bowl make the sludge move to the outside of the bowl.
This sludge has to be removed after appr. 15 hours running and the bowl and plates have to be cleaned with gasoil.
This is a clarifier, a separator just to remove water is a purifier.
