Bank Holiday Monday

A grey day made brighter for seeing this wasp spider in a lavender bush at the allotment. Apparently they are a relatively new arrival to the UK and found in the warmer south of the country. The guide I looked at also said they are not as dangerous as they look. Phew!

Other than allotment work, I walked the dog twice and baked rock cakes!
