Caerphilly castle

Wanted to explore this amazing castle but there were too many ducks, geese and swans for me to persist with Zara for more than a quick drag-around part of the perimeter. We detoured to a cafe and had coffee and a Welsh cake instead!

Two trains later and I am installed at friend R’s. Lots of chat and a lovely dinner, and now I am cosied up for a good night’s sleep before a few hardcore days in the office! Internet a bit patchy so unable to browse properly tonight.
