What a stunner.

We walked from the accommodation it into the countryside so that we could take a slightly longer walk to Lyme Regis. This direction leads us towards some wild meadows and I wanted to pick a few blackberries. I started and then found this amazing looking and rather large spider.  It didn't look like the sort of thing to mess with.

It's a wasp spider and is harmless, first discovered in the UK in 1929. The zip like
Structure in it's web is a feature of all their webs.

Later was the last night of the folk weekend with a band unknown to either of us, Merry Hell, they were fantastic!! In fact the whole weekend has been fantastic.
