Niyayesh

this is Niyayesh. she came this morning with her parents for Nowruz visits. she's very shy, the first time i tried to photograph her she ran to her mother before i could click the shutter. so i had to wait a few minutes, talk to her and show her a few pictures so she'd agree to let me photograph her. i had difficulty choosing between color and mono but her beautiful eyes won.

in the afternoon we were alerted that my grandpa is not doing well and has been taken to the hospital. we were there until night and took shifts to stay with him. it's not yet clear what's the cause and he has to be examined. i hope it's not serious. please don't forget him in your prayers.

i want to thank everyone for your kind wishes on my Nowruz/500th blip. it was a very warm and encouraging welcome. sorry if i have n't yet been able to thank you individually, but in the meantime i really appreciate your support and thank you for it.
