Light on the Cross

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

As I left church last night after a meeting the cross shone through in the light reflected in the snow. It brought to mind the verse above. The light and the quiet created such an atmosphere at the top of the hill that prayer was essential to the soul.
