For a small errand we drove to a bus stop in a suburb of Maastricht, to choose a bus that was not as full as the regular service that often arrives in our village from Aachen overcrowded. The bus between Aachen and Maastricht is the busiest of all bus lines that stop here.

I was probably in the centre of Maastricht for the first time since March last year. It felt a bit awkward. We sat on a terrace, ran the errands and ate a warm waffle.
