Natural bling

Something had obviously snacked on this beauty leaving just its wings and head for me to find on the pavement coming back into the village after Indies Sunday morning walkabout Such stunning colours in the sunshine. I think it's a male Beautiful Demoiselle, the only British damselfly with opaque, or coloured wings. A fact I did'nt know until just now.
A coffee with Mum then I went back onto the heath to pick a few more blackberries to make my jelly.
Mum came for roast duck and all the trimmings, homemade sage & onion stuffing, & veggies from the plot.  Quack quack yum!!
