Good enough to eat or too good to eat?!

We had a bake sale at work today, to raise some money for one of our colleagues (whose husband has been diagnosed with terminal cancer - he's only 34) and her husband to go on a last holiday together, before he dies.

This was one of the mini cakes on offer for a whole £2!! Bargain! One of my colleagues made them (lots of different ones - this one was a Red Velvet cake inside) and did all the decorations herself.

I was in two minds today whether to eat it or not, but I decided not to waste a good cake and I made sure I blipped it first, for posterity!
It was a good choice. The cake inside was yum. I did eat some of the icing, but I find it very sickly if I eat even a small amount of it, so left most of it behind. Luckily I got it home in one piece, as it very nearly got squished on the bus! :-D
