Day one of our management event at Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre.

I've lived in Leicester for over 16 years and have driven passed the centre many, many times but I had no idea that it was a registered charity. The management team at work are all spending a couple of days here to help out with some maintenance jobs as part of a 'giving back to the community' initiative. Last week, the boat shed had an initial coat of paint in the teeming rain, today we added a second coat. The weather may have been dry but it was a touch on the chilly side.

The boat shed had to be emptied before we started as we're maintaining inside and out. Whist most of the boats were out on the water, these few were not in use & sat well out of the way of our paintbrushes.
