Camera: 1953 Agfa Silette (original) - given to me by my uncle
Film: 35mm AgfaPhoto Vista Plus (ISO 200)
Date: December 2016
My uncle gave me his Agfa Silette camera when I was about 12. I was over the moon because even then I loved snapping away. But it seemed terribly old-fashioned and overly complicated compared to our family compact and I didn't have a clue how to use it. It ended up stuck in drawer for the best part of 30 years until I rediscovered it.
Wish I'd asked Ernest to show me how to use it back then, perhaps that was what he wanted. It was kind of him to give it to me, it's a lovely camera and at least it's loved and being used again now.
