Dinner with a colleague at a Central London club.

I didn’t really know what to expect of one of London’s more famous Member’s Clubs but, in spite of the formal dress code, it was very relaxed and pleasant. The company was good and the conversation flowed easily. The dinner was delicious, service was attentive and I even managed to joke with the waitress about the trifle missing trifle sponges and not being up to my mum’s standard!  I thought the picture of the cloakroom was quintessentially British.
