Lone paddle boarder

We moved to the Lake Lugano region two months ago, which was a big change in lifestyle, culture and altitude for us. Moving is always a big job and I had promised myself a "go" at SUP - stand-up paddle.
After work I headed to the lake to meet M who was already there and I finally took the plunge (excuse the pun). I hired a board and set out with a paddle and plenty of enthusiasm. The lake was calm, the season is coming to an end, the weather was perfect and yes, I loved it. Happy to fall in (only once though), knowing that I could get back out and up onto the board again.
Tomorrow the students return to school, so I am looking forward to that in my new job.
