Rise and (no) sunshine

These sunflowers have done a great job of cheering me up for a week now, since they were brought to book group by RB13. Time for them to feature on blip!

Another day of bits of being acting HoS, bits of Latin America, bits of (trying to find the optimal outlet and finish) my big piece about COVID-19, other bits of exercise. I did some strength work for the first time in months. Oh boy. Not good. I popped out for a walk before dinner, so although I’m “working at home in the traditional sense” this week, I’m trying to avoid being short of steps.

This evening we have been looking at spring flowering bulbs. Goodness me, even a wee balcony garden can become quite an obsession!
