Rule Brittania

Every morning seems to be colder than the previous one and today was no exception.
It's been so icy it feels like the wind would strip the skin off your hands if you took your gloves off for too long and walking to work feels like your on a trekking holiday at the north pole with Ranulph Feinnes.

We went to the cinema after work to see Identity Thief with Jason Bateman. It is extremely funny and well worth going to see.
This is a pic of the Britannia (obviously) taken from the balcony at the foody bit in Ocean Terminal. The colours were all very drab so i've enhanced it slightly with some HSL. It looks like there was blue sky which couldn't have been further from the truth. It was grey and dull with flurries of snow and arctic gale force winds.

Thank goodness it's friday. OH is working for the next 7 days straight for probably 10-12 hours per day as he is taking a load of holidays off in a week's time when i'm off to Majorca and he needs to be off to doggysit. Hopefully the weather improves a bit for him for that week.
So it's me and Bailey on our own for the whole weekend. Maybe i'll n0t see or speak to anyone like that weekend a few weeks ago. There are always friends online on Blip, Facebook to talk to I guess.
