Year 7 sneak peek

.... As is now the usual form, blip gets her back to school official photos before the actual happening. Though we are actually leaving today.

The stuff is packed. The insurance has been updated to include new instruments. The pile of music has been made.

The car has yet to be packed....

We travel down half way mid afternoon stopping because she needs a new full set of ballet shoes... Sigh... and then we travel most of the way to Wells. I've got us a little Airbnb (very little, we will barely fit the instruments on the floor space!)  but it's cheap and cheerful and will do the job.

She's been in really excellent spirits, so excited, with the understandble usual touchees elsewise. We got her academic timetable yesterday and she's delighted to really see the benefits of vocational school. Lots of daily practice in her timetable, lots of academic music. And emails about exciting opportunities like a jazz ensemble on her saxophone and a brilliant new piano teacher. 

Anyway... I can't believe how much she's changed just since late April. But here she is, ready for Senior School. With Monkey and a pile of soft friends at her side. Still ready though.
