A beautiful blue

I came across this on the beach. There are plenty of jellyfish which come ashore here, but I've never seen one this colour, such a bright violet blue. It was about 4 - 5" diameter.

It's been identified for me as Cyanea lamarckii. Unsurprisingly, its common name is the blue 
jellyfish! 

The major event of the day was that the campervan sailed through its MOT, so we're going away! I've booked the ferry for Thursday, so it's time to start packing!
