Green socks ???

We went to our favourite cafe for lunch - it was closed. We managed to find another one in the livelier part part of town. There was a quietly spoken couple behind us. They seemed deep in conversation, then started a spot of arm-wrestling. She was doing well, but I think he was just being gallant.
