Moooved on

Despite having a cough and sleeping very poorly, had to get the straw baled (the last hectare left unchopped) and the cattle moooved today. Perhaps good that the straw yield was poor as even collecting the small number of bales was quite hard.

The mooove went well again. Getting the first one across the road took a minute or two, and the last two required some extra work, but not bad at all.

At the time of taking this, the sky was almost cloudless, but lots of dark clouds earlier and a little shower just when we had got the straw bales on the yard. Just about +12°C and a chilly northwestern breeze made it feel quite nasty to be working outdoors with the cough and all.
