Dead to the World

Woke to another grey day, I was going to head north to do some packing but couldn’t be bothered. I decided to give the bathroom a once over and put the new boxes to good use and finally empty the last two bags which I brought down on my last visit up north. Whilst I wasn’t looking a beautiful summer’s afternoon emerged which meant the load of washing I did mid afternoon did largely dry on the line.

This moth turned up inside a bag, I suspect it had been there sometime! I thought it would be a good subject to practise focus stacking on…it’s a shame it died lopsided as it was most difficult to get a good angle on it. This wasn’t the best shot but it was the only one showing both eyes.
