Puddle

A day for curling up with a good book . . . continuing Gnomon  by Nick Harkaway and The Blue Flower (for October's book group discussion) by Penelope Fitzgerald; Sean Tucker's The Meaning in the Making  and John Simpson's memoir The Word Detective: Searching for the Meaning of It All at The Oxford English Dictionary  along with Creators, Conquerors & Citizens: A History of Ancient Greece  by Robin Waterfield are simmering on the back burners to be stirred (and tasted) occasionally a chapter at a time.

       After coming home from Flagstaff driving through intermittent heavy showers yesterday the rain continued through the night  and today is still cloudy but bright.
