Carol's Black-Eyed Susans

I know you were expecting pictures of Boston and neighboring communities, but in fact we didn't go anywhere today except to pick up my friend Carol's grandson at his first day of school! It's raining here, the remains of Hurricane Ida - expecting 3" of rain by midday tomorrow. 

We're planning on venturing out tomorrow if the rain isn't torrential so I'll have more interesting pictures. But for today, a step outside the front door, Carol's favorite black-eyed Susan's.
