My Little Horse . . .

In Montreal today, called in at a huge shopping mall for a coffee. Just behind the food court, there was a small petting zoo, squealing kids with snap-happy parents baiting baby sheep, coats, a couple of piglets, one of which seemed intent on raping the other (just a little game, kiddies) - and this little pony with razor burns where it had been shaved. Wonder if these animals, or the kids, saw the irony in their placement right next to the scoffing humans, who were probably scarfing their elder brothers. Hope no one told the pony that it would probably feature near the top of a burger menu in a couple of months . . .
