Poppy & Daughter

Almost two years ago to the day, Poppy was born and abandoned by her mother. She was a delightful pet lamb and has grown into a fine ewe. Now she has her own lamb (born last night) and I'm pleased to see she is a much better mother than her own mother was.  She refused to turn around and face me hence the rather unedifying view!
My absence  has been longer than intended and I've lost the enthusiasm I had for taking a daily photo but I will retain my membership and post the occasional blip.  I still think Blipfoto is a wonderful site and I value the connections I've made with so many friendly blippers from all over the world.
