At the viaduct lookout in Arthur's Pass National Park. Some DOC researchers had set up an experiment in the parking lot this morning. They had put food out on a wooden tray with cameras rolling to video the birds while they ate. Being Kea, they were interested in much more than the devices of the experiment itself, namely the signs indicating that they were being studied.
