It got away

After a week of work it's back to DIY at my mother-in-law's place. I'll take some time off as soon as I can to clear most of it, but at the moment it's basically the weekends only. Today's back blip is from our walk to the Hippodrome. Most of the time once we are there he is off running or sniffing something in the distance - except when another dog appears then he suddenly comes back (coward that he is).

The gulls and ducks are pretty safe as they can fly or just float away. He isn't fast enough to catch them before they take off and he knows he can't go in the water (mostly because he would be a pain to get out again). By the river or the sea he knows he's allowed in the water, but unlike a labrador he doesn't seem that fussed by it...
