Our back door

Completely snowed in. No power, phone line or water. Hubby's car stuck in drive since yesterday morning. Whole drive is one huge snow drift which everages 5-6 feet deep. At the very bottom the edge of the drift is about 8 feet high. The main road at the bottom is also just a mass of high drifts.

We are all safe and warm but obviously a little concerned as to when we will get power back and when on earth we will be able to get a car out. Full ski gear was needed today to clamber down the drive. The bottom is so deep I had to climb the fence and walk down the field while hubby made his way down on his ski touring skis!

P.s Guinness is horrified. Not left house and has had to resort Lo a litter tray..... The indignaty of it all!
