Winterton on Sea

We didn’t think we would last long on the beach when we arrived in the car park and the wind howling!
However, once down on the beach we found a sheltered spot in the dunes, the sun shone the whole time and we stayed 3 hours!
The kids entertained themselves; Naomi was brilliant with Anya and Max, there were sandcastles built, kites flown and huge holes dug. Ben and Andrew both managed a nap, Elliot nearly got lost in the hole in the sand.

Vanessa had some stressful phonecalls from work. She works for British Red Cross and manages refugee family reunion so you can imagine how her work has increased over the past few weeks since the crisis in Afghanistan. I don’t know how she does it, such a challenging job, particularly with this government.
