Red Soldier Beetles on Cow Parsley

Not a bad day, just cloudy in the morning. I took a coat at lunchtime, but ended up tying it around my waist. Passing through the park I noticed this cow parsley with quite a few red soldier beetles (one pair being rather amorous). The sun did come out, and it felt quite hot. The sky was a mixture of blue sky and dark clouds. Very warm in the afternoon, I decide to go out for an after work bike ride. I was right about the cycle path. Very treacherous slimy mud on the path. Don't touch the brakes. A dry ride, but more rain in the evening.
