Mournful

We did an 8 mile circuit around Ramsey Sound today starting in the little port of Porth Clais. I am sure these Welsh miles are longer than English ones. On our way around, we saw and heard the mournful cries from this seal pup who we assume was trying to get out of the water. It’s mum was around further out to sea but she wasn’t going to come and help it. You are on your own was the message. I was leaning over the edge as far as I dare to get my photo. We did see the sun briefly but not for long.
