Another past concert programme & ticket memento from my photo book.

7 years ago today; Kate Bush at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

Quite one of the most amazing performances I’ve ever seen, I still feel so lucky to have witnessed and experienced it. Unique in being not simply a ‘concert’ but a real one-of-a-kind thing that can’t really be labelled, being as it was part concert, part theatrical performance. 35 years after her previous (and only) concert tour she chose to do this not as a touring production but as a 22-night residency in one venue.

You might spot from the ticket that I was in Row F; unbeknownst to me until I got there, they had taken out the first 4 rows of seats to accommodate an extended stage, so I was well pleased to discover that I was in what was now the second row.

One of my best ever concert memories – such a special evening.
