A special treat

After a lengthy stint in virtual meetings I popped along to see my whisky mate. He had been busy too so asked if he could leave me with a few bottles and the England match while he took the dogs for a quick walk. He mentioned I could come out with him but he knew that was a forlorn hope.

While I was indulging myself Ruby sent a photo of her with Joe and Eve. Joe had come to see the girls and they were having dinner together. It was all I could do not to jump on a bus and go see them. But there were a few compelling reasons to stay.
