Bomb Proof

Or at least cage proof. These sheets of metal have been screwed onto the fire doors. The builders ( so called) are doing the re fit to our store but it’s painfully slow considering the painter told us he’s on £18 an hour! They don’t work weekends they don’t work after 2am and they are so slow one site manager has already been sacked. You really couldn’t make it up at our place.
We went onto nights so we could be working with them but we’ve been on our own most of the time as the so called workmen obviously need their shuteye.
I don’t know how this country runs at all with the lazy buggers who are on ridiculous amounts of money. We get a pittance and work our arses off. ( well the twilight team) can’t say anything about days they are just like the workmen.
Rant over for another day.
I’ve just come back from a dental appointment. I got home at 5am to get two hours sleep to get to dentist have some work done now I’m back in bed trying to get back to sleep for tonight’s shift . Maybe that’s why I’m so grumpy.
