Alice is getting married today. She is the proprietor of the cafe at the top of the Caen Hill flight (and also Times Square in the Market Place ). Both excellent eateries.

I have never seen a marquee at the top of the locks. It will be magical. Fairy lights flank the paths and some are high on strings around the pound.

Clive was convinced the "tent" was for the crew filming here next week. I said, "They are digging up the prison, not the canal!"

Of course, the wedding should have happened last year.
