8am, 8pm

Well it turned out nice again! The sun’s just set and maybe we’ve half-an-hour before it gets chilly outside but that’s when the Friday meet starts so it’s actually perfect timing.
Peter and Alex were over for lunch today, great weather for sitting out on the terrace and the least we could do since they’ve no kitchen! Peter is talking about heading to IKEA tomorrow; we’ll see. Anyway, they scoffed all the spaghetti so the sauce I knocked up must’ve been OK!
We’ve started planning our return and I spent a fun hour earlier sorting out the Covid tests for after we get back to Edinburgh. Fun and games. Now I just need to book tests at this end and, assuming we test negative, get all the info onto a passenger locator form (but you can’t do that until 48 hours before arrival) and get us to South Shields before the test window runs out. I reckon we’ll make it with an hour to spare.
Hundreds of crows just flew overhead, young and old, all cawing their heads off. What a racket!
