PREPARING TO LEAVE

The swallows were getting into training for their migration today. Parents were teaching youngsters how to feed on the wing, and topping them up every so often while airborne and they all seemed to be intent on getting as much food as possible. Except this one, who kept coming down and resting on headstones and looking around, asking other passing swallows to feed it. I'm not sure if it has the right attitude to survive the long journey, although it was very helpful for my blip.
