Friday night is music night

Tonight we’ve sat and watched a Johnny Cash song doco followed by the making of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’. I’ve been privileged to see Fleetwood Mac twice, once in Newcastle sans Christine McVie and once in Dunedin with Christine. I don’t think I’ve been quite as awestruck as I was when I heard her sing ‘Songbird’ live.
Sis then headed off to bed while I settled down to Pink Floyd in concert in Venice 1989. Lights out, volume up- and the Floyd, what more could a girl want on a Friday night?
I never saw Floyd live as such but did see Roger Waters in concert twice, once playing the whole of ‘Dark side of the moon’ followed with greatest hits in the second half of the gig. Then a few years later he did the whole of ‘The Wall’ , bloody amazing!!!
