Cheap Frills ...

This year's sweet peas are having a last flourish. I thought they were over after the rain and wind of a couple of weeks ago, but they have come back.

Last year I saved some seed and sowed it in the spring. I didn't expect much, and nothing happened for a long time ... but here they are, looking tough enough to survive till November. And they are scented, though maybe not quite as powerfully as some.
