...into the outside world from a day deeply immersed in internal worlds can come as a bit of a surprise and feel quite strange at the end of the day/week.
It’s made such a difference with complete peace outside this week.

I caught up with craggy for my supervision on Teams and he has already devoured the books he’d borrowed from our shelves on a recent visit. I was astonished. I have barely managed to read anything for many many years now and am still on with To the Lighthouse (more a case of osmosis than actual reading ... which would probably suit Virginia Woolf). Craggy said it has been the same for his partner who Is usually a voracious reader but hasn’t been able to read at all since her bereavement earlier this year.
Unsurprisingly, he struggled with Crash, not one I’ve ever read or want to, although I do like Ballard. There was a good repeated interview with him that I caught part of on tv recently.
